Spring is here, and I’m finally starting to adjust to the extra daylight (even if my sleep schedule disagrees). The warmer weather has me craving something a little lighter, a little sweeter, and—of course—full of coffee.
Enter: my new favorite obsession, Brown Sugar Cold Foam Coffee.
Now, if you’ve never tried brown sugar in your coffee, let me introduce you to your new best friend. It’s warm, slightly caramel-y, and just the right amount of sweet without overpowering your brew. Basically, it’s like your coffee decided to level up.
Brown Sugar Cold Foam Coffee Recipe
Think of this as a fancy coffee shop treat—but easier, cheaper, and made in your own kitchen.
What You’ll Need:
✔️ 1 cup of your favorite Good Grounds coffee (I love this with Refreshed Blend for its citrusy kick)
✔️ 2 tbsp milk or half & half (or oat milk for a creamier texture)
✔️ 1 tbsp brown sugar
✔️ ¼ tsp vanilla extract
✔️ A pinch of cinnamon (optional, but highly recommended)
How to Make It:
1️⃣ Brew your coffee—hot or iced, your call.
2️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, vanilla, and a splash of hot water until the sugar dissolves.
3️⃣ Froth your milk using a frother, blender, or a good old-fashioned mason jar shake (arm workout included).
4️⃣ Pour your coffee over ice (if making iced coffee), then swirl in the brown sugar mixture.
5️⃣ Top with your brown sugar cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon.
6️⃣ Take a sip and question why you ever paid $6 for a coffee when you could’ve just made this.
This drink is smooth, sweet, and has just enough depth to keep things interesting—kind of like spring itself. It’s the perfect way to ease into the season, even if you’re still hitting snooze one too many times.
Try it out and let me know—what’s your favorite way to sweeten up your coffee? ☕💛
Happy Sipping,
Jenelle
