Hi there, We are Jenelle and Ashley Davis. We are the hearts and souls behind Good Grounds Coffee Co. We are passionate coffee enthusiasts and thrilled to share our love of coffee with you!

Our Journey with Coffee

Growing up in the capital region of New York, where cold seasons are plentiful, we always cherished having a cup of coffee in hand. Whether attending college, family events, or hosting game nights at home, coffee was a constant companion. As we got older and graduated from college, we began experimenting with different at-home brewing methods. I, Jenelle, took on work that immersed me in the coffee world, particularly in the specialty coffee arena.

With both of us holding business degrees, it felt natural to start our own venture, and that's how Good Grounds came into being. It started with a simple idea: to bring exceptional, ethically sourced coffee to fellow enthusiasts by creating an online café for easy access to freshly roasted coffee. Originally, we envisioned a more mobile coffee experience with a mobile cart, but we found ourselves increasingly drawn to the online space. What better way to share our passion for freshly roasted specialty coffee than by making it easily accessible to our customers online?

At Good Grounds, we believe in more than just a great cup of coffee. We're committed to supporting sustainable practices and fostering direct relationships with coffee growers. This is already established in partnership with our roaster, who is a New York native and 4th generation roaster. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, freshly roasted coffee to your doorstep, while promoting a sense of community and kindness. We believe in making great coffee and sharing it over great conversations. It's all about bringing hospitality back to the coffee table.™

Our coffee is roasted locally in New York State, ensuring peak freshness and flavor with every order. Each blend is thoughtfully crafted to highlight its distinct tasting notes, such as the rich brown sugar, cocoa, and dried fruit in our Empire Espresso Roast. We take pride in offering a personal touch and a memorable coffee experience, bringing you the best in every cup. 

A Bit About Us

Jenelle is often found playing frisbee with her mini Aussie Shepherd, Callie, or driving a big dump truck at her full-time job. In her free time, she loves exploring coffee flavor profiles with her husband, Tyler, at home. Ashley, on the other hand, can be found creating 5-star level dishes in her home kitchen or going for walks with her beloved Border Collie, Rosie.
