Spring Ahead with a New Coffee Recipe

As the days grow longer and the air carries the first hints of spring, there's something invigorating about this season of renewal. Just like we set our clocks forward, spring is the perfect time to refresh our routines, embrace new beginnings, and, of course, discover a new favorite coffee drink.

A Taste of Spring: The Espresso Tonic

Warmer days call for something light, effervescent, and full of vibrant flavors. This season, we're inspired by the bold richness of espresso paired with the crisp refreshment of tonic water. *You can also use iced coffee or cold brew in replacement to the espresso. This is a delightful drink with Italian roots.

Espresso Tonic Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot (1 oz) espresso (Good Grounds’ Empire Espresso Roast is a perfect choice!)

  • 4 oz tonic water or sparkling water

  • Ice

  • Orange or lemon slice for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the tonic water.

  2. Slowly pour the espresso over the ice and tonic to create a beautiful layered effect.

  3. Gently stir if desired.

  4. Garnish with a fresh orange or lemon slice, and enjoy!

This drink is a celebration of everything we love about spring—bold, bubbly, and refreshing with just the right balance of depth and brightness. As we step into this season of growth and change, let’s take a moment to savor new flavors, embrace new opportunities, and welcome the fresh energy of spring.
